Snoring should be considered a sleeping disorder
Snoring results from an obstruction to the flow of air through passages at the back of the mouth and nose. Certain factors can contribute to snoring such as being over weight and eating a large meal before bedtime. Of the group of people who snore 2% of the population have an added danger called sleep apnea. This is where your upper respiratory tract constricts and causes the user to stop breathing for several seconds. If you have this condition you should see a doctor right away as it can cause heart problems and other life threatening side effects. |
